Throwback

This project imagines THROWBACK, an original video series concept developed for the French YouTuber SEB. As part of the concept, I designed its opening title sequence as an immersive exploration of the defining moments in music and cinema. The title sequence takes the form of an archival montage, revisiting the artists, albums, and performances that have shaped the history of Hip-Hop and popular music. Rather than illustrating individual figures, each image represents a cultural turning point in music history. The sequence is structured around iconic milestones, including Nina Simone, MTV, Michael Jackson, N.W.A, 2Pac & The Notorious B.I.G., Lauryn Hill and Kendrick Lamar, with the soundtrack reinforcing the narrative throughout.
